Botanical garden
Salzburg Apothecary Herb Garden, Alpinum, high- and low moor, dry grassland, farmhouse garden, carnivorous plants.
The Salzburg Botanical Garden is about 1 ha in size and comprises the following areas:
- Outdoor area with several exhibits - mainly sections from central European vegetation: approx. 10.000 m²
- Cultivatioon areas: 280 m²
- Experimental greenhouses: 350 m²
- The facade greenhouse with mainly tropical plants is integrated into the main building of the Faculty of Natural Sciences: 590 m².
April: Tuesday-Friday 9am-4pm
May-September: Tuesday-Sunday 10am-6pm
October: Tuesday-Friday 9am-4pm
Tours:
Guided tours of the Botanical Garden are available at any time by prior arrangement.
Scientific garden tours and tours of the pharmacist herb garden organized by the Chamber of Pharmacists, see dates on the website.
